David Boyle Architect is a multi award winning architectural practice established in 2002. We operate out of a studio in Pretty Beach, adjacent to Bouddi National Park between Killcare and Wagstaffe on the Central Coast, 2 hours north of Sydney. The majority of our projects are located in and around Sydney as well as on the Central Coast and we have also completed projects in rural NSW. We specialise in residential projects of all types, including new family homes, pools, holiday homes and alterations and additions in city, suburban, heritage conservation, rural and bushland settings. We have undertaken projects of most residential building types including detached homes, terraces, semi-detached houses, and Torrens title subdivision developments.

Our projects have received architectural and industry awards including commendations in the Institute of Architects Awards in 2011, 2010 and 2005, the Grand Prize and Trans-Tasman (Australia and NZ) winner in the Australian Timber Design Awards 2010, Dulux Colour Awards in 2011, 2007 and 2006, the Marrickville Medal in 2012 and 2011 and commendations in the House of the Year 2011 by Houses Magazine. Our projects have been featured in leading Australian architectural magazines and popular publications and TV programs as well as architectural publications with international distribution. Our projects have also been included in housing and award winning building tours organised by the NSW Institute of Architects, the Architects Association of Australia (AAA) and the Historic Houses Trust.

Our small office practice gives us the ability to offer a personalised and collaborative architectural service with a focus on design excellence based on responsible and creative resource allocation, underpinned by sustainable passive design principals. We approach each new project with an individual response to make the most of the project brief, the sites attributes and orientation and to maximise the sense of space and connection to the landscape. Please contact us if you would like to discuss your residential project and we can meet you on site and run through the full range of architectural services available, or if you would like more information on any of our projects.
